"On Eagle's Wings"
Some folks wanted to know the source of the two inspiring DVDs that were shown as a part of our Conference:
"In God We Trust" is one of five segments on a DVD named: Forgiven.

Comments from some who attended 2007 Conference/Banquet:
I just wanted to send you this quick note to say how much my
wife and I enjoyed our time with Eagle Forum and it's guest speakers on
Saturday here in Nashville. I must confess to not knowing much about
Eagle Forum until now but we were greatly impressed. We are originally
from Canada but have lived in the U.S. for six years, our citizenship
paperwork has been sent in and this is our country now. It is through grassroots
groups such as Eagle Forum that America will continue to be great and
not go down the socialist road Canada has gone down, much to the detriment of
its citizens. Let me also mention that my wife and I had the pleasure of
the company of a few of the "Teen Eagles" around our table at the banquet
and found them to be the most delightfully charming and engaging dinner
companions. God bless the work you continue to do and thank you again
for a great day.
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Paul Oxner, Monteagle
In one, fast-paced day, Eagle Forum Conference participants
were armed with volumes of useful information on the hottest issues of
today. From the biblical call to civic duty, making a stand this legislative session for the unborn, enforcing
our borders, protecting Americans from the most intrusive breaches of
personal freedoms, to protecting our children from unwanted violence and sexism
in the entertainment industry, On Eagle's Wings defined priorities for the
next several years of advocacy. An advocate's best friend, this conference provided all the data,
anecdotes and definition needed to arm conservatives for effective advocacy.
Most of all, for those sitting on the fence, letting others advocate, the conference was a powerful awakening.
Fence-sitters cannot be bystanders on these issues anymore! Thank you Bobbie
Patray for another outstanding program. I'm armed and ready for
advocacy!

This was the second Tennessee Eagle Forum conference I have
attended. As usual Bobbie put together a great group of speakers on
vital and timely issues. The information I learned that day will help me be
a better legislator. Our state is and will be a better place to live
because of the work of Tennessee Eagle Forum and Bobbie Patray.
Rep. Mike Bell (R), District 23
It isencouraging to have those with knowledge and spiritual
insight to speak out. Thank you so much
for the extremely valuable information Eagle Forum Conference provided
in Nashville last week.
Your speakers, even the sequence of their topics, were all
line upon line, all fitly joined together for such a time as this.
This information our staff received will not
stop with us. We are now preparing to pass
this information on with several teaching sessions in our church and school.

I want to thank you for an excellent
conference. The October Eagle Forum Conference in Nashville was the
best conference that I have attended in the last decade. The content and
quality of the speakers and their presentations were outstanding. The
presentations were on cutting-edge issues of which I was not
aware. Each speaker was skilled in the use of much humor which made it great
fun. The organizing and hosting was top-notch. Can't you do this every year? So
much to learn and so little time. The only down side, if there was one,
was that many, many more conservatives should have attended. Thanks so much
for all your hard work. It is only not much needed for the times in which we
live, but is also very much appreciated!
Regards, Mark Brezina, Knoxville
I have never felt so inadequate and
uninformed as I did while listening to the speakers at the Tennessee
Eagle Forum Conference. I realized my negligence as a citizen in not making
the effort to be better informed of my responsibilities as an American.
Each speaker was powerful and dynamic and the information poured in so fast that I had
trouble taking notes, because, at the same time, I was so awed at their
knowledge that is missing in our society as a whole. I was captivated by their
knowledge and dedication to the American cause of liberty and their earnest desire to
impart their spirit of patriotism.
I came away so inspired and dedicated to make a difference in my
sphere of influence by using the materials and information given, plus the
knowledge of where to gather more resources to stand up for our
American values, traditions and customs. They presented the knowledge we need
with specific truthful facts that are interwoven in the fabric of our
American history. I pray I never waiver in my strength and courage to
make a difference.
It was worth everything I went through to be there,

Tennessee Eagle Forum is the best source of information to
keep up with what's happening in the Tennessee Legislature and beyond. Both the conferences I have attended have
been filled with more information that I could process at one sitting. I highly recommend buying the CDs so that
you can be sully informed and empowered to make a difference in our governmental processes.

The value of being at this year's Eagle Forum Conference for
us was a vital one - we invited people who were new to Eagle Forum and
who were very interested in all the speakers and in the many topics brought to
their attention. I would say that each one of our guests had a particular
favorite or two and all without exception were overwhelmed with the
speech Phyllis gave. We ourselves were enormously impressed with Dr.
Katherine Albrecht and her topic "Is there a Çhip in Your
Future?" I will say that there is nothing more impressive than
a speaker or person who has personally sacrificed to bring to our
attention a threat to our liberty or personal freedoms.
The chance to conference with other like-minded people who
over the years have become very special to us was another valuable part
of the day - we need to touch base with those who inspire us to keep up the
good fight and also to bring others together who need to know that there is a
group which has the strength and the numbers to make a difference - if we all
dedicate ourselves to it. Eagle Forum is that group and by spreading the news
about what we heard at this conference we will increase our influence
on the political process. I think it's also good that our two senators
sent greetings and also representatives to this important meeting.
Thank you for arranging for this to take place and most
importantly for more people to meet and greet Phyllis Schlafly.
Martha Millsaps and Bishop William Millsaps, Monteagle
The TN Eagle Forum Conference was wonderful. The speakers presented cutting edge
information. Every one should hear "Sinful Silence," "Imbedded
Microchips for Information and Control," and Phyllis Schlafly on
Documented Facts about the North American Union and its Super
Highway." Having good information stimulates citizen action. Spread
the word through the CDs from the conference.

Sat.Oct.6 I attended the Tn Eagle forum Conference at Music
City Sheraton in Nashville. I was particularly looking forward to it as a
friend of mine was attending for the first time, and knowing her as I do, I felt
in my innermost being she would really relish it and, I was right. The
day began with a talk, which rang with the truth of all of our corporate
responsibility to hold each other and our leaders accountable for the political sins
of the nation and its leaders. And, yes, my soul was stung as I realized how
paralyzed we all have allowed ourselves to become by apathy, fear, and
worldliness as we sit and allow a very few to battle the grave moral issues of the
day---abortion in particular--allowing our own hard earned tax dollars to support it
when it is clearly not the will of the people, or George Bush would not have
been elected. Eight years later --no change.... It doesn't appear to be an
issue this time around. I am looking for a candidate who is screaming about the
"blood on our hands" because our nation supports killing the unborn.
Each succeeding talk built on the previous one and each
had its own kindling to add to the fire of the political, ethical, and
moral burning issues of our day. But, the epitome of non political
correctness, our leader, who I think should be nominated for the first woman Pres. of
these United States, Phyllis Schlafly took the podium, and I listened to a mind and
a will and a persistence that in current pop culture would be phrased"
blew me away". How can one effectively describe Phyllis ability to rally her
troops and then flash that smile of hers which could conquer the nation
by itself? A little secret-- Phyllis told
me after her talk her childhood heroes were Wm. Wallace and Robert the
Bruce -- old Scottish warriors. She said " This morning as I was
leaving to come here there was a spider weaving a web outside my door
and I recalled the old tale about Robert the Bruce and the spider" I nodded
because in an old book, I had read about that story-- and I think it
bears repeating here. Robert had been a faithful warrior and fought many
battles, losing time after time again, and keeping on going. He was holed up in
a cave on Rathlin Island, alone, discouraged and beaten again --and I am
certain, praying, for he was a believing Christian----when he noticed a spider
building a web at the caves entrance. Each time the spider tried it failed until
finally after the 8th or so try, it succeeded. Robert rebooted his courage,
inspired by the spider, and went on to defeat the English at the Battle of
Bannockburn with only a few troops, and very much outnumbered by the English. I
sincerely hope Phyllis will have her own Bannockburn in this country and in this
time. History does repeat itself, you know, and she deserves it and her
General in the South is one Bobbie Patray.
