Billie Cash

Billie Cash is a southern lady of many talents who resides in Collierville, Tennessee with her husband Roy Cash, U.S. Navy Captain (Retired).  Attending the University of Memphis, she majored in theatre, which led to successful ventures in radio at WHER, America’s first “all women” station, television commercials, and performance roles at Front Street Theatre as well as theatres in other states.  Her musical background embraces musical comedy but she has also soloed with the Norfolk Symphony, Norfolk, VA.  Billie’s worship CD “Light Your World” was recorded in Midhurst England.

For thirty years she was immersed in the challenges of military life, raising a son , CDR Carey Cash, a U.S. Navy Chaplain who in September 2015 will  be Senior Chaplain aboard the nuclear carrier USS Stennis whose home port is Bremerton, WA.

Her daughter, Kellye Cash, was Miss America 1987. Billie, while serving alongside her husband, developed motivational workshops which took her to the four corners of America with Navy commands, civic and marketing groups, nursing staffs and public schools.

She is a retreat/conference speaker who has done itineraries in the British Isles and Dominican Republic.  Billie has authored six books which she calls “signposts” for Christian living and continues work on the manuscript for #7.  In 2010 she began speaking across the nation on military bases at special events honoring military wives and active duty women.  Billie brings humor and authenticity framed with biblical insight for today’s woman.  Her joy is the legacy of twelve grandchildren.
