Sara Horn

Sara Horn is an award-winning writer and collaborator who has worked with several high-profile best-selling authors, finishing seven books in five years. In 2003 she made two trips to the Middle East to document stories of Christians in the midst of the Iraq War. She shares many of these stories in her first book, A Greater Freedom: Stories of Faith from Operation Iraqi Freedom, written with best-selling author Oliver North.

She has written for publications which include Baptist Press, Preaching Magazine, Christian Retailing and Home Life. She is a regular contributor to Military Spouse Magazine and CinCHouse.com, two military spouse publications, covering topics important to Guard and Reserve families. Sara is the publisher of the faith-based military news site, AGreaterFreedom.com , launched in early 2005.

In 2006, she founded Wives of Faith, a military wives support group for both active and reserve spouses who are looking for connection, encouragement and support. She has lived in Nashville for more than five years with her husband Cliff, a Navy reservist who deployed to Iraq in 2007, and their son Caleb who is in third grade.
