Billie Cash is a southern lady of many talents who resides in Collierville, Tennessee with her husband Roy Cash, CAPT, USN (Retired). She attended the University of Memphis, where she majored in theatre, which led to successful ventures in radio at WHER, America’s first “all women” station, and performance roles in several states.
For thirty years, she was immersed in the challenges of military life, raising a daughter, Kellye and a son, Carey. Kellye, “Miss America 1987”, is presently the Director for Advancement for Youth Town, a Christ centered residential organization for troubled youth, ages 12-17.
Carey is a CDR USN (Chaplain Corps), and presently serves as Command Chaplain aboard USS John C. Stennis, a nuclear Aircraft Carrier stationed in Bremerton WA.
In Navy life, Billie wrote motivational workshops which took her to various Navy commands, civic and marketing groups, nursing staffs and public schools. She is a retreat/conference speaker who has done itineraries in the British Isles and Dominican Republic. Her six books are called “signposts” for Christian living.
Recently she has developed new materials for retreats: “You are God’s Masterpiece” (Eph.2:10) and “Embracing the Fruit of the Spirit” (Galatians 5:22-23). She is also continuing work on another book manuscript.
Her speaking background encompasses military events honoring wives and active duty women, Salvation Army, Eagle Forum and Writing seminars for authors. She moderates a “God and Country” prayer group in her hometown and mentors women in prayer. Billie brings humor and authenticity framed with biblical insight for today’s woman.
Her joy is the legacy of twelve grandchildren.
