Frances Arthur has taught at the high school, middle school, and elementary levels in public, home school, and homeschool cooperative settings over the last 28 years. Between her degree in music education and personal skills, she has taught government, politics, economics, US and world history, general music, music theory, choir, and English grammar.
Frances’ husband, Dale, of 27 years, is a car hauler and begins each week taking a load of Corvettes somewhere in America. They have 2 amazing sons who are both currently serving in the US Armed Forces. Ben is a soldier in the Alabama Army National Guard attached to a Special Forces unit. David is an infantry Marine who is currently deployed in the Middle East. Dale and Frances live on a 40-acre beef cattle farm in Manchester.
Frances also serves as an elected member of the State Executive Committee of the TN Republican Party representing the 16th Senate District. She works part time for TN Right to Life as a church outreach associate, lobbyist at the capitol, and high school oratory contest chairman. Her favorite volunteer work that she does is serving with TN Eagle Forum as the Teen Eagle Director for TN, teaching high school students across the state how to participate in their government effectively. In her spare time (go ahead and chuckle), she plans small events and weddings for family and close friends. Somehow she manages to spend 8-11 hours each week on a dance floor improving her skills in Latin, swing, and ballroom dance.
